Good form

Eric Linge, Nick Gargaro, and Ryan Beck are moving up the Southern League bowling chart, while Josh Hill has got himself among the leading group of run scorers. Dan Adlem is running into such hot form, that his Dad keeps him in the fridge at night.

Good to see you........

Welcome back to David Wheeler returning from Australia, to Ben Edgell whose teaching commitments are over for this summer, and a particular welcome to off spinning all rounder Nick Elliott who has made such an impressive start with both bat and ball.

The 2nds in the hunt

Ben Neal is in top form with both bat and ball for the Seconds. It is good to see Tom Prodomo back behind the stumps having recovered from his injury. Tom has been working hard on his batting this year. Someone's Fantasy team is about to reap the benefit. Evergreen Steve Watts is in good nick. The 2s are in with a shout for promotion if they enjoy reasonable good fortune with availability.

Colts move up

Nothing gives greater satisfaction to Club members than to see our own locally developed players start to make their way into the senior teams. Congratulations to all of those who have made the step up this year, and particularly to Ollie Anderson, Nick Clark, and David Mills for their exceptional performances in the past couple of weeks. Well done also to Alfie Hussey on handling his First Team debut so confidently.

Well done Charlotte

Charlotte Taylor is in fine form for Hampshire at both Under 17 and Senior levels. She is in the middle of a six match programme for the Under 17s for whom she has made runs consistently. The youngest member of the Senior side, she is off to play a two day game against Durham next week. She recently took 5-27 in a club match for Hursley Park. Take note Dad !

Getting the runs ?

Andy Case and Toby Edwards have been touring Sri Lanka. News of their exploits will be posted here as soon as they are available.

Frustration for the 15s

Despite a handsome victory in their final League fixture, the U15s were pipped at the post for the Divisional title. Bad luck guys, but well done to all on a high quality campaign.

Festival cricket at Fernhill and elsewhere

The HCB Festival season is upon us. The Under 15s District competition is being staged at Fernhill July 31st - Aug 2nd. There will be some great cricket to watch featuring we hope some of our own players. The Clubhouse will be open. Come along and enjoy the occasion.
